Sonny, who was born October 8, 2011. is now nearly 8 months old. He is still shedding his winter coat and looking very content as he grazes on the green grass. His mother is in the background and he keeps close by her. The temperatures during the day reach nearly 90, but the night time drops to 50 degrees. It seems the young ones tend to hang on to their winter coat just a little longer than the mature horses. As always, our AMERICAN MUSTANGS fill our souls with much needed nourishment!

Oh Sonny Boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen, and down the mountain side

(Lyrics from Danny Boy, an old Irish folk tune)
